Baby shower

Well, my shower was an absolute blast! It could not have been any better. My friend Carol who threw the shower made special candy bar wrappers with my picture on them - so cute - I will try and post a picture of them soon - very cute party idea! My friend Sheryl made so much delicious food. I was in heaven! Michaela made her million dollar pie which I conveniently left in the kitchen and now have all to myself. I can't help it - her pie is too good to share. teehee. Violet got a lot of great gifts. It was so wonderful. I think everyone had a great time- I know I did. We played some really fun games - a mad lib game which was my favorite and had everyone rolling with laughter. I hope you all enjoy the pictures and I wish everyone could have been there :)

Mega ExerSaucer

Thank you Papa and Grandma Lyn! Logan got the ExerSaucer MEGA! So much fun! Logan's feet just barely touch the bottom but he loves looking at ALL the toys! It is so cute to see his expressions and reactions to the lights and music!

this weekend

Here is a painting Eric did for me this past valentine's. I had to scan it in for a friend of mine, and thought I would share it on the blog because it is my favorite. Well, we have a big weekend ahead of us. Michaela and the boys are coming in town, Dad, Lyn and Abigail are moving to B-ville (they should be in OK on Saturday), and I have my baby shower which I am totally looking forward too. I wish all the cousins, aunts and uncles could be in town too - we would have a fun Mckee reunion.... :) I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!!

Congrats MAX!!!

Max had an awards ceremony today!! After the first couple songs Max got sick and almost threw up on the kids in front of him!! They quickly pulled him off stage and he puked all over the back room! Poor guy he was a champ though and stayed to get his awards he received an Achievement in Reading, Excellence in Character and Academics with Great Expectations & Superintendent's Honor Roll!! Zachary also received an award for Principal's Honor Roll but there was no ceremony for 8th grade!! We hope that Max gets to feeling better! Congratulations to both my boys for doing so well in school this year!!

Summertime here we come!!

It is almost summer and we went to Lake Murray today! The boys have never been on a boat before so this was very fun! Logan got to feel the water and sand on his feet! The water is still a little cold but I am sure it will warm up soon! Zach and Max only have 4 more days of school woohoo!!

I passed!!!

I passed my OPTE (Oklahoma Professional Teaching Examination). YAY!!! I made a 276 out of 300 - not too bad since I thought I failed it. I did, however, make 2 perfect scores on the essay portions of the test. woohoo. That was the last test out of three that I had to pass in order to become a certified teacher in Oklahoma. All I have to do now is finish my last internship and take an Advanced Comp. class and I will be done!!! I am so excited!

Bath Time!

Bath time and the livin is easy! Some friends gave us this cute lil Pooh robe! Logan loves taking a bath but he hates getting lotioned up afterwards!!

Sports

Zachary is #52 but you can't really see him in these photos but you can see how huge the seniors are!! He was so embarrassed that his mom was out on the field taking pictures teehee!! Max had a track and field meet today and he got 2nd Place in the Soft ball throw and 2nd Place in the 100 meter dash! I AM VERY PROUD OF BOTH MY BOYS DOING SO WELL IN SPORTS!!

Brie's Baby

Here are pictures of Brie's baby. She doesn't have a name picked out yet. She is waiting for the perfect one. So I know suggestions are welcome. Brie is so excited. She is due August 7th. I wouldn't be surprised if we went into labor at the same time! ha ha. I think Michaela, mom and I will be hosting her shower June 23 or 24th - I can't wait for that. Her shower will be a combination wedding/baby shower. Brie got married Vegas-style April 4th to Russell Martin, so I had to post a picture of the happy couple. Brie is grooming dogs still and she loves it. I admire her strength- there would be no way I could groom dogs and be pregnant. Russ works at IQ furniture which makes me happy because that is my favorite furniture store in Tulsa. They really are the cutest couple, and I know that they are just going to be the best parents.

Good Morning Sunshine! Logan is so smiley every morning but we can't say the same for the evening!!! WE thought it was funny today he matches the sheets! Everyone be looking for pictures this afternoon of Zachary playing football! He seems so big and it brought out my inner cheerleader yesterday when I saw him playing the seniors!!!

Pregnant Pix

So here are some pix of me at 31 weeks. Eric and I have our hospital orientation thing tonight so we can know where to go and what to do when it's time to have this baby.

I hope everyone had a wonderful mother's day. I know I did. I went to mom's, Chris grilled, I ate (mmmm ... food) and mom and I went shopping for flowers. Let's hope I don't kill the flowers I bought.

Happy Mother's Day! I woke up LATE (Logan let me sleep in)! Zachary made me pancakes for breakfast!!! The boys bought me the Oil of Olay Thermal Pedicure and Warming Face Wash!! I was soo excited!! Max also made the lovely flower pot and yesterday all 3 flowers were in bloom which I thought was so symbolic. Today has been a great day!! :)

Another GIRL!!!

Logan is soo happy that he is going to have another GIRL cousin to play with... We just found out yesterday that Aunt Brie is having a girl too! The other 2 boys aren't as thrilled they wanted to have a boy cousin! I am so excited because now I can FINALLY buy girl dresses!!

SOOO PROUD!

The boys are soo proud of Mom , Aunt Tara and Logan for starting a blog!! They wanted their picture on it too! I know they look thrilled. We took several pictures and this is the only one with all our heads in the shot!

Here is Violet's first picture. This was taken at 20 weeks.

You can already tell she is absolutely gorgeous and very photogenic.

I am now 30 weeks. Violet is moving all the time. My belly resembles the ocean at times.

We are ready to have a relaxing summer, free from

papers and required readings. Violet and I plan to spend our summer by the pool, reading, and trying to stay cool.
