These photos were taken by my bff Julianna. This is when Violet was probably 10 days old or so.

This picture was taken to showcase my friend Kate's jewelry for her website. The "Violet" necklace is really a bracelet for when she gets older. I thought it was so cool.

Everything has been going really well. I just cannot believe Violet is 5 1/2 weeks old. Goodness! Time flies. I have to go back to work in a week. I am not looking forward to that transition. It is going to be so hard to leave my beautiful little girl. I can barely make it 3 hours when I have class, so it will be interesting to see how I handle 9 hours of being away from her!!! boohoo.

I unfortunately don't have pictures with me and Lyla. But I did hold her when she was in ICU. I got in trouble for taking pictures of Brie holding her :(

I never knew that I could feel so much love for these baby girls!! I love being an Auntie!! I didn't expect to feel this kind of LOVE :) I am so happy to finally have 2 girls I can spoil with PINK dresses and ribbons. (In this picture Violet is on the left and Lyla on the right)

They looks so much alike sometimes it is hard to tell who is who :) Lyla is on the left and Vi on the right!!I miss them something awful and I want to see them very soon!

Well LOGAN is teething and he apparently wanted to chew on everything including the coffee table! It was so funny to find he rolled over and was chewing on the table. He has just been the most grouchy droolie baby lately. But yesterday his tooth finally popped through :) and he actually slept good last night!!


Aunt Michaela has the most beautiful pictures of her baby nieces but she can't figure out how to post them :( Aunt Tara I want to see more baby girl photos!!!! PLEASE

Hello Lyla Jewel!

She was 6lbs and 8 oz the same as her cousin Violet!! Born last night around 7:40 pm!

Lyla Jewel is soo beautiful!! She is currently in the ICU due to minor complications at her birth. She is obviously strong and alert! I can NOT wait to meet my 2 wonderful little nieces! Congradulations Brie and Russ! I love her so much :) Brie I hope you are feeling better!!

The boys started school today! They can't wait to meet our new cousins :)

Eric captured her crying. oh how she loves to cry sometimes, but i don't think she could be any cuter even when she is crying!!!

Things are going great.. She can get pretty fussy in the mornings and evenings so eric and i are trying to figure out what makes her happy - so far its eating. she eats all the time. i am thinking about starting to express milk and give her bottles after she eats b/c i don't know if she is getting enough food just from nursing. any feeding/newborn tips/ suggestions?? She did gained 5 oz. from our last doctor visit 10 days ago. I was hoping she gained a little more weight just because she is so tiny. She is now 6lbs 12oz and 19 1/2 inches long.

Eric and i are just so happy - we cannot believe how wonderful she is. It really is overwhelming the love we feel for her.

More Pictures of Violet

Here are some more photos. We are doing really good. Violet loves to eat that is for sure- sometimes i think she is trying to catch up to her cousin Logan - ha ha. Last night she slept a lot better than the night before! woohoo. Man, there is nothing like waking up every 2 hours, but its surprising how well I am functioning with interrupted sleep. I think waking up to her sweet face every 2 hours makes it well worth it :)
