Standing and Crawling

Logan has been getting around the house with his army crawl. It is not the typical crawl it is more like dragging himself across the floor. He also enjoys standing in his crib and with these new tricks he has not been sleeping as much as usual. In the middle of the night he feels like doing his new tricks :( Ugh I am tired and I want my baby that slept all night back!

Violet laughs for the first time

Eric called me this morning and told me he heard Violet laughing quietly in her sleep. He called a few hours later and said he had her going. Apparently, the trick is acting like you are punching your face. She finds it hilarious.

I haven't heard it yet, but hopefully I will hear her beautiful laugh when I get home from work.

I am so excited!

Bumbo and Family Fun

Violet has taken to thumbsucking - it is so cute.

violet and i had a nice trip to B-ville this weekend to visit with aunt shawn, annie, dad, nana, lyn and abigail. we all had a great time talking and violet loved all the attention.

This is Violet in her bumbo that Aunt Carol got her. She likes it only for a minute before she starts crying, but she is just so darn cute it in...

CAKE for breakfast :)

This morning Dad went to work early (6am) so we decided to have CAKE for breakfast. Laughing to myself thinking of the Bill Cosby HIMSELF routine I thought it was a good idea :) Yummy it was delicious with my morning coffee and the boys thought I was pretty GREAT! "Mom is great, give us vanilla cake !" teehee!! Maybe this will help with this rainy gloomy Monday morning :)

BUMBLE BEE!

Flag Football & the grass eater

Our team the Plainview Fire won the first game and we lost our 2nd game last night. Football is serious stuff in this town. Luckily our coaches are really nice but I can't say that for some of the other teams coaches. Max plays offense and defense and is really good at running fast. Logan has fun too eating the grass he got mad at me when I picked him up to leave he was having so much fun. Occasionally Logan would yell out really loud like he was cheering on the team!
