Dremel fun

Gregg got a Dremel tool for Father's day-- and he decided to polish my rings today :) Logan thought this was a wonderful idea and found his brother's old electric tooth brush and started "toothbrush dremel-ing" everything in the house.

Other than the humming of tools it is VERY quiet here!

summer time rolls

Here are some pics of the boys :) We LOVE our pool and no one really ever goes during the week so we go everyday after lunch and before nap time. We pretend it is our own private pool :) Logan's suit is so awesome- he just jumps in and swims with the big boys.

the 2 big boys will be visiting Papa and G'ma Lyn for 2 weeks! I donno what I will do with myself there will be no arguments to referee, no dishes done for me, no chore list to be checked!! I guess Logan and I can swim alot :) I would post a pic of Gregg's neck scar but it is very gruesome- much worse than the last surgery so...no swimming for Daddy for a while!

dress up and piano

I caught Violet playing the piano in my headband and bracelet.  It was so cute.  She amazes me. With each day, she is becoming a full fledge kid.... the babyness is leaving which I am coming to terms with (I think- teehee).  It is so much fun to see her learn  new words and letters, recognize friends and family, and make advanced connections in her big world. Everyday her development is propelling her into this intelligent, creative kid.

The new haircut reveal

Lyn, Dad and Abigail took Violet for her first real haircut while we were on vacation. We wanted a "Suri-ish" haircut and I think they did a great job.  I am wanting her bangs to grow out which has been a challenge since she will not keep any barrettes in her hair, but I am powering through it.  She looks so grown up with her new hair-do.

P.S. Gregg's surgery was a success. The Flynns are still in OKC waiting for Gregg's release from the hospital which may be today or tomorrow.

gettin' ready for surgery in the city

After a tearful church service -I came home to take pictures of my family. We are packing up today for a few days in the city while Gregg has his second spinal surgery. I cannot express how wonderful my church family has been to my family. I am overwhelmed by the love and generosity of all my friends and neighbors. I LOVE LIVING IN THIS SMALL TOWN!!!

Back from the Palladium

Well, we are back and obviously had a wonderful time. It was absolute heaven. Here are a few pictures of our trip.  Pictures of Violet's new hair cut tomorrow.... she grew a million inches when we were gone. She had so much fun, and she and Aunt Abbey are now bff. She now cries for Abbey and Papa when she doesn't like what mommy and daddy ask her to do. Haha.

Picture from a bridge of our back patio.

This is a picture of Danelle and Sheryl, my two dear, sweet friends that accompanied us to Mexico.

Viva la Mexico!

So Eric and I have been planning a Mexico trip since January. Mom booked it for us in February, and we are leaving tomorrow!! We are so excited. We are celebrating my upcoming 30th birthday and our 10 year dating anniversary. We are going to Quintana Roo, Yucatan, Mexico which is south of Cancun. It is a beautiful, all-inclusive resort.  We are meeting our two friends Danelle and Sheryl there. Check out the website.  We are staying in the fancy Royal Yucatan cabanas. Woohoo! Wish us good traveling luck!

We are going to miss our sweetness! I don't know if I can handle 5 days without her, but I know she is going to have a great time with the grandparents. (Sorry, M, for a double post, but I wanted to share the Mexico happiness with friends and family. love love.)
