Sisters, birthmarks, and breast feeding
I love these pictures. Aurora will one day kill me for posting naked photos, but I had to show you guys her birthmark above her bum! She has one on the back of her neck too.
Big sister helping mommy give Aurora her first bath (This was taken a few weeks ago).

So, I came down with mastitis this weekend. I am going to quit breast feeding. I feel incredibly guilty about it, but I literally have woken up every morning with clogged milk ducts and pain for the past 5 days, and then add, a fever and chills to it due to the infection. YUK!!! Breast feeding and me do not get along. The same thing happened with Violet, but I lasted 4 months with her, but I cannot be a good mommy and take care of my two girls with this much pain. It is too much. So I will be weaning over the next month. I am, however, looking forward to the freedom of not being chained to nursing and pumping. I think it will be liberating -- not to mention that I will get more than 3 hours of sleep!

Tornado on Hometown Road
I took this pic of the boys and their new haircuts and then (about 20 min after I took this) we were in our storm shelter. We didn't realize at the time but our street was hit very bad by this tornado.
We had not only ourselves, the dogs but Max's beloved snapping turtle Bowser~Snap all in the storm shelter waiting for my storm tracker Mom in Tulsa to give us the ALL CLEAR~ Gregg and Max peaked out at one point and saw the Tornado swirling over our house~ it was very humbling experience and Hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon.
There was a house here~ several houses on either side are just GONE~ My camera is acting up I took several pictures today but this was the only one that stayed in the memory~ I am in awe of how people in Texoma come together the clean up crews have almost all the debris picked up. SOOOOOO thankful we have a storm shelter ;)

for my Momma on Mother's day weekend
I have been thinking everyday about my Mom recently and I just wanted to say some things. Mom, I know that this Mother's day is going to be a hard one for you as it was the last time you saw sweet Brie ~ but I am truly blessed to have you as my Momma~ I take great joy in watching you be a "Nanny" Momma to your daughter's daughter. Lyla doesn't realize it now but you are the best thing for her and her for you. I love that we can share toddler woes together on the phone. Even though we have had the hardest of years I see the blessings all around. I love you Mom and I can't wait to show off our new place to you next week. I will cook for you, drink wine with you, we can laugh and cry all weekend. You are a GREAT Mom and I am truly a blessed daughter~ thank you for everything~
