The End of Summer

School starts the 23rd.  Time to leave my babies and it makes me sad. Ugh.  But we did have a wonderful summer.  I cannot believe it's time to go back.

My baby turned 3!

Oh my!  My little Violet turned the big 3 yesterday.  I cannot believe it.  We had a wonderful time with friends and family to celebrate her big day. She had a Wow Wow Wubbzy birthday, and friends and family pitched in to get her this awesome swing set that Eric and his family laboriously put together (it took 4 days and about 16 hours in the hot July heat! ) I ordered cookies from Bridget. Aren't they absolutely amazing?  Violet took her first bite of the cookie for breakfast and she excitedly exclaimed, "I LOVE this!" Enjoy the photos!

Aurora's first date

Aurora and Harrison had their first date.

Harrison is my neighbor's baby.  She had him the day after I had Aurora.  The other day she brought him over and Aurora and Harrison were both dressed up, so we thought this was a perfect time to stage their first date.  Don't you love H's tie onesie.  I love how it looks like they are holding hands.  They kind of look like a little old couple! 

4th of July at the McKee Ranch

We spent the 4th of July with my Dad, Lyn and Abigail in Bartlesville.  We had such a wonderful time-- we went to Woolaroc, went fishing, watched silly movies (Dad's choice being Strange Brew, eh ), shot off fireworks, ate delicious food, and the list can go on and on.  Here are some pictures from the weekend:

Here are some pictures of Aurora in her hat that Michaela knitted her and the little sweater that Nana made.  The next pictures are of Vi in her Wonder Woman shirt and glasses.  I just love how she looks in these pictures -- maybe because it reminds me of how I dressed when I was kid-- very 80s.  The very last picture is this soda I found at Target. I had to buy it because of our blog and it ended up being very tasty.  Lucky me!!!
