Lily the Leopard

Here are some pictures of Violet hugging her favorite stuffed animal Lily the Leopard. We got the toy when we visited Aunt Carol and Uncle Seth.  We toughed it out at the OKC zoo for maybe 30 minutes.  We were all dripping with sweat - it was incredibly hot. But we did get a stuffed animal at the gift shop, and it is Violet's favorite right now. This weekend we saw Abigail in her big debut High School Musical. She blew Eric and I away. She is a talented actress and we are so proud of her.  I forgot my camera for our visit, so, unfortunately, I have no pictures, but I will try to get Dad, Lyn, or Abigail to send me some and I will post them. Maybe Michaela will have some???

Friendship

My Best Friend Erica blessed us with her presence for the evening. We were a nice resting point on her way to St. Angelo Texas. It is so awesome to NOW watch our children play together. Her friendship and kindness means so much to me and my boys. She has been there with me through the good times and the bad.


Logan was so thrilled to be playing with Drake and Mallory! Woohoo sleep over :)




We all stayed up til 12:00 last night! Wow I can't remember the last time I stayed up that late. WE are not such wild women anymore teehee!!

Aquarium

Here are some nice, blurry pictures of our trip to the Jenks Aquarium.  I think Violet had more fun looking at the other kids than the fish, but Eric and I enjoyed ourselves.  Our favorites included the jellyfish, stingrays, and of course, the sharks.

1/2 Birthday Celebration

My Aunt Gayle had this tradition every year when I went to Houston to visit Molly and Bridget during the summer. Molly forgive me I am not sure of when your actual Birthday is.. but I do remember your half birthday Turtle cake or was it Turtle cheesecake. Whatever it was it was good! I always thought it was so neat that they got to celebrate half Birthday's too.

Zach was jealous b/c I only recently started this tradition with Max. The main reason I started this was the year Logan was born I had just gotten out of the hospital and we didn't have a huge birthday party! So we had a half birthday in the summer!

Chocolate cake with Cherry frosting and chocolate chips :) It was soooo good!
