Zepplin Flynn

A friend at church had to give away little Zepplin~ He is known for being excellent with 2 and 3 year old boys and he has warned their family of rattle snakes and caught rats!! This was enough info for Gregg he wanted this dog. We need a little guy like this with us in the country.

Introducing our newest family member Zepplin (we liked the name they gave him so we will keep it)

This dog SMILES!!!! He is so calm and patient he is a Jack Russell mix and he is not hyper unless there is trouble. I watched him just lay there while all the children played around him and on him. I just knew he was a good dog.
Logan calls him ZEP~

We are keeping him with us until our fence is up at the new house~ We went in a different direction than I thought~ I was wanting a Girl dog originally but this guy is AWESOME and I couldn't resist a good dog for my boys!

Pictures of Vi's 1st Day

Violet's first day went great.  When she arrived, she was a little freaked out (as one can see in picture 2), but when Lyla got there she was fine.  Eric said when he got at the school to pick her up, she didn't want to leave.  She had a blast! She talked about how she caught a yellow fish and she was SO proud of her boat that she painted.  She had such a proud look on her face when she showed me her creation.  She looked at me and said, "Well, what do you think, mama?"  It was so priceless.  We will see how day 2 goes next Tuesday.  Her teacher said that usually kids do fine that first day, but sometimes the 2nd and 3rd time are the hardest.  I think having Lyla there made Violet feel at ease.  Overall, I think preschool was a success!

Violet's first day of school

Violet is beginning daycare once a week starting tomorrow.  It is the same one that Lyla goes to and they will be in the same class.  Good luck to the teacher who has to handle those two.  They love each other to death, but they sure like to cause trouble.

We are so excited and nervous for her first day of preschool/ daycare.  She cannot wait to make new friends and play on the slide, but I think she will have a hard time leaving her daddy.  We are packing her bag, getting her lunch ready, and picking out her first day of school outfit this evening.   Wish us luck!

4D Ultrasound pictures of Aurora and Abigail's performance

Eric, Violet, and I went and got 4D ultrasound pictures and video yesterday. Here are some cute pictures of my little one.  We think she looks a lot like Violet with bigger cheeks. We got to see her yawn, stick her tongue out, smile and make kissey faces; it was definitely worth getting.

On another note, I have to rave about my sister Abigail's performance as Millie in the play Picnic.  She did a phenomenal job-- so much so that I had a hard time believing that this young woman on stage was MY sister.  Needless to say, her character and her performance made the play.  I could hear people in the audience whispering to one another about how great Millie was.  I wish you all could have seen her up there. She definitely has something special, and she blew Eric and me away!

my favorite emotion

We are home and I had the hardest few days~My Nana's funeral was just what she would have wanted (there was only mild family tension ,no drama) it turned out very good. I will miss her so much~ I cried hard not only for the loss of my sweet Nana but for all of our loss my family has gone through. It is almost too much but it is LIFE. I was also sad because I saw alot of people I will probably never see again~ We had very heavy tender hearts and I felt every emotion these past 3 days pangs of anger, uncontrollable SADNESS and lots of laughter with old friends and my family. I was happy to see my nieces they are so beautiful and special to me. It is fun to see these 3 little ones together. I am grateful for my Mom, my Dad and Lyn (what would we do without Lyn) I think it is pretty special that we can all hang out have dinner, some wine and have a great time together ~that really doesn't happen often in this world. Nana would have had a blast laughing with us last night.
After the funeral we went to try and celebrate my Max's 10th at Incredible Pizza in a bathroom stall I had to cry, pray and get myself together~ after that.... the celebrating of LIFE was on hand and I enjoyed every bit of it. Here are just some shots that I got of these wonderful kiddos in my life. "LAUGHTER AFTER TEARS IS MY FAVORITE EMOTION"
