TRUNK OR TREAT

We have a huge party the Wednesday before Halloween at our church ~ this year we actually had a Trunk in the festivities~ it was a lil rainy and our spider webbing didn't quite work out like we wanted.

Zach and Colton were in charge of the toilet paper toss~ there is a huge party and games inside after all the kiddos "TRUNK OR TREAT" outside.

Max was "CLOUD" from Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy the video games~ HE loved HAVING HIS HAIR SPRAY PAINTED GOLD

My Mickey was a huge HIT at the party :) There were several Mini's too so it was very cute :)

A good time was had by all.... HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Halloween creations

We woke up one morning to find our lovely daughter drawing her masterpiece on our couch. Instead of being mad, I actually was impressed! She drew ghosts.  I think they are pretty freakin' awesome for a 2 year old. Below the ghost picture are images captured at the pumpkin patch.  It was hard to get a good shot of Lyla and Violet.  They are constantly on the move. I love the picture of Eric and Violet- They are pretty cute together!  The last few pictures are of our pumpkin painting session which is Violet's new obsession besides The Little Mermaid, playing air guitar (thanks to Eric), and being a "Scary Witch."

Halloween costumes

We thought for sure Logan would choose Sponge Bob to try on tonight but... He has chosen Mickey Mouse! We will see what he puts on Halloween night~We were just looking at pictures of Max in this costume today we got it when he was 2~ so cute and I am so happy we can recycle our costumes. Logan has many to choose from in the years to come :)

He is running around screaming "I AM A MOUSE!!!!!"

boy cuts

It was so hard for me to cut off these lovely locks~ but at 21/2 years I guess it is time for the baby to have his hair cut :)

Max was actually very agreeable to having his hair cut today~ which is a switch

Ta Daa Logan is a Big Boy NOW!!

Max Looks so ADORABLE I love seeing his eyes :)
Zach however was not so agreeable this time~ He hates it long but doesn't like it short so....

I just LOVE Logan's BIG BOY hair cut~ I just can't believe how big he is getting :)

We didn't cut Zach's too much just thinned it out mostly and I think there was more hair on the floor than the other boys :)

LOVE note

We are in the process of buying a house (we found a lovely 3 bedroom 2 bath) ~ it is out in the country, it has a chicken coop and the neighbors (Gregg's life long friends) have already offered chickens if we get the house. Pictures to come soon~ We are very excited!

While digging out old tax returns and paperwork I found this letter from Brie ~5-9-98
my favorite part

"I want to thank you for all the things you have done for me. I know that I can always count on you & you will always be there for me! I am so thankful to have a sister like you. I hope you feel the same way. I want you to know that I will always be there for you~ NO MATTER WHAT! I hope we'll never loose the love that we share I love you Brie"

What a great gift to find~ it says everything I needed to hear~

New season of life

Tara~ here is your hat :) I just have to stitch it up and send it :)

It is October~ I LOVE fall~ especially this year~ I can not express how long this summer was for me. New things are happening:) my hair is short, Halloween decorations are up, costumes are out, football is underway, there is a chill in the air, my teenager is driving, my husband is better, my father in law is getting well, financially getting stronger, still being vegetarian, very involved in my church seeking God like never before and I still feel lost. Some days I just want to pick up the phone and call Brie ~ she would understand, she would take my side, she would give me love, she would laugh at this or that. It is so funny how people react to death (myself included) some of them expect me to "be over it" get on with life. I am trying..
so.. here is to a NEW SEASON of my life!
