our back yard - it is actually worse today - if you can believe it. our shed is now crushed by a tree limb.

barely missing our car. today, there is like half our tree's limbs right where eric's car is now. our street is almost impassable.
still no power. we are at mom's who has power and a fireplace. we are so thankful we have a place to go. so many friends are in the dark and cold. this ice storm is really devastating. but at least our house and cars have managed to avoid being missed by the massive tree limbs that keep falling. keep your fingers crossed that it stays that way.

I was so sad to hear that your Dad and Lyn were without power too! Poor Nana...I am sure she is freezing! So glad you have a safe place to go. Keep that precious baby warm and we will be sending you good thoughts.
WE WERE SAVED BY THE ARBUCKLE MOUNTAINS! WOO HOO ARBUCKLES! APPARENTLY THAT HAPPENS ALOT HERE :) GEE I WONDER WHAT DAD, LYN, ABIGAIL AND NANA ARE DOING? THEY ARE NOT USED TO THIS COLD WEATHER HAHA THEY SPENT TOO MANY YEARS IN PHOENIX!

oh man. I hope you guys are warm. We had an ice storm like that about 5 years ago and were out of power for 9 days. It was a nightmare. I'm so sorry you are going through this. Take care and stay safe!! I'll be thinking of you and hoping the power gets turned on everywhere soon.
